Job summary

Bostik in Greenville, SC is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, coach teams, and drive Lean initiatives. You will partner with planning, maintenance, and supply chain to meet production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

The role emphasizes employee development, Kaizen participation, and hands-on leadership on the plant floor, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing supervision or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of production, logistics, and maintenance operations.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Material planning experience.
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma or Theory of Constraints education or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to develop production plans meeting customer requirements.
• Provide direct supervision of production personnel, including work assignments, training, discipline, attendance management, and development.
• Ensure process records are accurate and complete before submission into Movex.
• Promote and support plant safety initiatives including 4S, SBO, and 5S programs.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities through shop-floor problem solving and Kaizen.
• Manage authorized purchasing activities while maintaining budget expectations.
• Adjust workforce allocation and priorities to meet changing production demands.
• Lead daily efforts focused on improving safety, quality, and productivity performance.
