Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the PCU Assembly floor on the 3rd shift, driving daily production, safety, and 6S standards. You will manage reports on inventories and production achievement while guiding a team to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, training and coaching, and strong leadership across all levels of the organization. A strong focus on process control and customer requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree not required; a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and reporting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows and Excel for data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PCU Assembly operations on 3rd shift and coordinate floor activities.
• Manage production reporting: inventories, production achievement, rejects.
• Drive 6S, safety, quality improvements, and associate communications.
• Track attendance, line-ups, and overtime; control costs and schedules.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using PDCA cycles.
• Coach and develop staff; conduct training and performance reviews.
• Ensure customer requirements in quality, cost, and delivery are met.
• Manage projects and coordinate with other departments as needed.
