Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. is seeking a Team Lead for the PCU department on the 3rd shift. The role will lead daily assignments for line employees, operate production equipment to meet targets, and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.

You will develop associates and identify root causes for non-conforming product and downtime to prevent recurrence. Responsibilities include planning rotations, supervising work instructions, training, and acting as liaison among Production, Quality and Engineering

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience in production environments preferred.
Ability to lead line employees and coordinate shifts.
Must have good attendance.
Basic MS Word, Excel, and Internet skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Supervisor with planning rotations and training to production associates.
Maintain knowledge of processes, procedures, and equipment.
Understand inventories and generate detailed carryovers.
Verify production documents are completed and maintained.
Keep line running with immediate actions and escalation as needed.
Train, develop, and mentor associates, enforce PPE.
Assist in root cause analysis and countermeasure development.
Liaise between Production, Quality and Engineering.
Other duties as assigned (6S, quality alerts).
