Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a leading cold-chamber aluminum die casting facility near Cedarburg, WI. The role focuses on controlling high-pressure casting processes, reducing scrap, and diagnosing defects to maintain OEM quality standards.

You will monitor critical parameters, perform root-cause analyses, and collaborate on trials to ensure first-pass yield improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years tenure at each previous employer.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in process control within a manufacturing environment (aluminum die casting, plastic injection molding, or metalworking preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to interpret process data and quality reports.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma/vocational degree preferred.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze critical process variables (melt temps, shot profiles, injection speeds, pressures, cycle times, die lubrication).
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects (porosity, cold shuts, soldering, etc.).
• Review X-ray data and optimize parameters for new product launches and existing runs.
• Establish and maintain process setup sheets and work instructions.
• Collaborate on production trials to improve first-pass yield and reduce scrap.
• Support quality and inspection with real-time monitoring and data reviews.
• Train operators on standardized process parameters and best practices.
