Job summary

Connectly Recruiting in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a premier die casting manufacturer. The role focuses on monitoring high-pressure aluminum die casting processes, optimizing parameters, analyzing defects, and driving down scrap while ensuring OEM quality standards.

Candidates must have at least 2 years at each employer, strong troubleshooting skills, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer is required.
• 2+ years of process control experience in manufacturing (aluminum die casting preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor critical process variables including melt temperatures, shot profiles, injection speeds, and pressures.
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects such as porosity, cold shuts, soldering, and other defects.
• Set up, tune, and validate die casting process parameters for new product launches and existing runs.
• Maintain process setup sheets and operating instructions for setup techs and operators.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering to validate process changes and improve yield.
• Review X-ray inspection data and support quality inspections.
• Train floor personnel on standardized parameters and best practices.
