Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation in Eagan, Minnesota seeks a 2nd shift Press Operator to run state-of-the-art offset and digital presses as part of the Core Publishing Solutions team. You will review specs, set up, monitor runs, and ensure high-quality output while collaborating with colleagues.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, lean knowledge, and the ability to train others; safety and housekeeping are emphasized throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading and training others in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Monitor equipment and product through the run to ensure quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and involve maintenance as needed.
• Document activities in Tier Boards and SAP/MII systems.
• Provide work direction to crew and participate in safety programs.
• Participate in project teams and suggest process improvements.
