Job summary

RTX (Pratt & Whitney North Berwick) is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 3rd shift. You will inspect lightweight components using fixed and variable gauges, following procedures, and maintaining accuracy in dimensional data.

You will read and interpret drawings, manuals, and data to ensure conformance, document results, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a safety-regulated, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Inspection experience (Non-Aerospace acceptable)
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Computer skills
• Basic Shop Math

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges.
• Apply written inspection procedures and drawings, Engine Manuals and other data to plan and perform inspections.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Support continuous improvement activities and maintain inspection stamp.
