Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. in Shelbyville, Kentucky is seeking a Pack Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am). You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to maintain smooth product flow and meet service level goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gauges.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills; basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English; understand safety and quality instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• No written disciplinary action within last 6 months (production/safety).
• No written disciplinary action for attendance within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment to meet service level goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment; apply 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and QA on FPI.
• Complete documentation and labeling accurately.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
