Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Shelbyville, Kentucky is hiring a Set Up Punch Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm – 7:30am). You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines to keep product flowing and meet service levels, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and reading of blueprints, and the ability to use simple tools and computers. You’ll fill out documentation, handle scrap and rework, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment to maintain flow and meet service levels.
• Maintain a safe work environment and uphold 6S principles.
• Ensure all products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Fill out all documentation and labels accurately.
• Handle scrap, rework, and mixed products as needed.
