Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Associate Technician to set up, operate and maintain lab equipment in the surface or finish portions of lens production. The role supports efficient production and adheres to safety protocols.

You will interpret Rx work tickets, perform calibrations, troubleshoot equipment, and assist teammates in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment in the assigned area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production tasks per procedures.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Perform daily and weekly calibration of equipment.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Assist and train less experienced staff as needed.
