Job summary

Walman Optical is seeking an Associate Technician for the surface or finish portion of lab production. You will set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on lab equipment, interpret Rx work tickets, and help ensure efficient production with proper calibration and safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of equipment in lab production.
• Interpret Rx work ticket and perform production operations on specified equipment.
• Perform basic/routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as directed.
• Calibrate equipment daily/weekly as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and follow safety rules.
