Job summary

Walman Optical is seeking an Associate Technician to operate and maintain equipment in the lab’s surface/finish areas. You’ll interpret Rx tickets, perform daily production tasks, and ensure proper calibration and cleanup of equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the resilience to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and quality. Pay range is $18.14–$26.00 per hour, plus benefits.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced lab environment.
• Basic math skills and careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance of lab equipment.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Calibrate equipment daily/weekly as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
