Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Third Shift Operations Leader to direct the Stator Bar Shop during nocturnal hours in Schenectady, NY. You will drive lean manufacturing practices, guarantee KPI achievement, and plan manpower for shift coverage while upholding SOPs and safety standards.

You will lead hourly staff, optimize indirect labor, and ensure timely Kronos timecard updates, collaborating with other shifts to ensure seamless information flow.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2+ years supervisory experience, or HS diploma with 4+ years manufacturing/leadership

Responsibilities

• Delegate work based on production schedule
• Manage daily productivity and achieve L1 targets
• Communicate daily safety talking points and safety conversations
• Develop knowledge of technical discipline and apply policy/strategy
• Uphold company code of conduct and discipline when needed
