Job summary

GE Vernova in New York is seeking a 3rd Shift Technician to maintain manufacturing capability, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement on the line. You will serve as the on-floor SME, resolve issues in real time, and ensure quality and documentation standards are met during off-shift hours.

You will work 11pm-7am onsite, hold an Associate degree or equivalent with 5 years manufacturing experience, have at least 2 years in a technical role, and support MES, stator bar testing,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 5 years in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical manufacturing role.
• Onsite position and ability to work 11pm-7am.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues in real-time with engineers and operators to prevent line stoppages.
• Dispositon stator bars, manage data uploads and audit documentation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Shape Check systems and material handling equipment.
• Authorize shipments after quality checks and status verification.
• Provide MES floor support and guidance on operations terminology and procedures.
• Lead initiatives to optimize production processes and equipment reliability.
