Job summary

RealTruck, Inc. in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Mold Technician for the 3rd shift. The role requires clear communication with production teams and all support groups, and precise documentation of all work performed to ensure proper recordkeeping.

Core duties include mold changes, adjusting machine settings, inspecting molds and tools, and assisting maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is required; related experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education, training.
• Prior experience operating manufacturing and process control equipment required.
• Thermoforming, Injection Mold, or related machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold change activities to ensure proper equipment changeovers.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
• Perform operational procedures to ensure the quality of the product produced.
• Identify the proper tooling required for pending production.
• Inspect the condition of molds and component parts for damage and wear; notify Lead if maintenance or replacement tools are needed.
• Assist maintenance with repairs, PM, installation commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to the equipment.
• Keep molds/tools in good and safe condition and return to designated locations.
