Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is seeking a third shift Manufacturing Manager for a prominent Michigan-based manufacturing organization. You will lead production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial objectives, guiding multiple manufacturing teams and driving daily execution.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and operational excellence, with accountability for KPIs, budget, capacity planning, and customer-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
• Manage and develop supervisors, team leaders, and manufacturing support personnel
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools
• Improve operational efficiency, product flow, throughput, and equipment effectiveness
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
• Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing performance
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, capacity planning, and resource allocation
• Identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve profitability
• Maintain strong customer focus by ensuring quality standards and delivery commitments are achieved
• Communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations throughout the organization
