Job summary

Voltava, a leading global manufacturing partner, is hiring a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Engineer in Michigan to develop assembly processes aligned with customer requirements, quality systems, and labor plans.

You will implement new equipment, lead automation selections, address manufacturability issues, and collaborate with PL and Quality to achieve higher OEE, reduce scrap, and improve reliability across automotive, industrial, and technology projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/assembly environments.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed manufacturing plans for programs requiring new equipment.
• Lead equipment selection, timing, and implementation.
• Support quality plans and product design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with PC&L to optimize material flow.
• Oversee automation and robotics execution in assembly.
• Ensure OEE and safe launch practices.
