Job summary

Voltava in Michigan seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and launch high-quality assembly processes for both new and existing programs. You will work hands-on with Engineering, Operations, Quality, PC&L, customers and suppliers to bring new equipment, tooling, automation, and processes from concept through production.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, APQP support, and ensuring processes meet engineering, quality, safety and performance standards. Minimal travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/assembly experience in automotive preferred.
• 2+ years of APQP experience supporting program launches.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, tooling, equipment, and automation.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch efficient, high-quality assembly processes for new and existing programs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, PC&L, customers, and suppliers to bring equipment, tooling, automation, and processes from concept through production.
• Drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned to new processes.
• Support APQP activities and ensure processes meet engineering, quality, safety, and performance standards.
