Job summary

JAC Products in Saline, MI seeks a Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift to maintain and repair production equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and fabricate parts as needed.

Proficiency with CMMS and Allen Bradley PLCs is preferred, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. A 4-year technical degree or journeyman cert is ideal, with substantial industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in welding and fabrication equipment.
• Experience with CMMS for maintenance records.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, set up, and operate production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred).
• Fabricate parts using MIG/TIG welders and saws.
• Update preventative and non-preventative work orders.
• Respond to service calls and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts.
• Recordkeeping in CMMS.
