Job summary

CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and PLCs, along with blueprint reading skills.

Ideal candidates hold an Industrial Maintenance certificate or 5+ years in maintenance, with Computer experience and Fanuc robotic troubleshooting preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Maintenance certificate or 5+ years’ experience in general industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and PLC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and related drawings and diagrams.
• Computer experience; Microsoft Office preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze non-standard situations and troubleshoot.
• Fanuc robotic programming and troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment during production time.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Perform maintenance repairs including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic tasks.
• Read and interpret manuals, prints, diagrams and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust.
• Maintain inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
• Document actions and communicate issues to teams.
