Job summary

JAC Products, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Napoleon, Ohio. This role focuses on maintaining, setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, responding to service calls, and performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

Qualifications include 6+ years of industrial maintenance, a technical certificate or associate's degree, knowledge of PLCs preferred, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Vocational Certificate, Associate’s Degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
• Working knowledge of PLCs preferred; robotics experience a plus.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, set up, and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Fabricate parts and equipment as needed.
• Respond to service calls: inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machine issues.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, including retrofits and emergency fixes.
• Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Manage parts inventory and maintain records using JAC Products’ CMMS.
