Job summary

Jarp-Industries is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will perform preventative and repair maintenance on CNC work centers and building systems, under supervision, to keep production running.

The role requires a two-year degree in a related field and maintenance experience; welding and CNC repair experience are preferred. Strong problem-solving, blueprint reading, and PLC/CNC familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work positively with individuals inside and outside the organization.
• Familiarity with computers, specifically Microsoft products.
• Strong understanding of PLC and CNC controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance on all production equipment and building.
• Perform mechanical and limited electrical work on equipment.
• Install replacement parts on machinery.
• Perform air compressor maintenance and weekly service requirements.
• Assist in installing new equipment and moving existing equipment.
• Coordinate with area Team Leaders to minimize downtime.
