Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at its Caledonia, MI facility to maintain highly automated equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems, and support production with rapid response to issues. The role offers long-term career progression and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and industrial maintenance experience.
• Ideally three plus (3+) years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics; interpret manuals for fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and automated production systems operate safely and reliably.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production cells and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
• Diagnose and repair motors, relays, sensors, drives, and PLCs.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to assist repairs.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and complete work orders.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and implement improvements.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and installation projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment per safety procedures.
