Job summary

Trans-Matic is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (4/10s) in Holland, MI. The role focuses on mechanical, preventative, building and grounds maintenance across the facility.

The shift runs 9pm–7am Monday night through Friday morning. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, lift up to 75 lbs, and own basic tools. Training is provided for licenses as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work from heights.
• Own basic tools; training provided for licenses as needed.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to attain hi-lo and man-lift licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and prioritizing preventative and routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance across stamping, tool room, assembly and facilities.
• Perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, drives, PLCs; read blueprints/schematics.
• Assist with installation or moves of equipment; order parts.
