Job summary
JAC Products in Shelby Township, MI is seeking an experienced Master Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift (6a-2:30p). The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems, plus PLC programming and training junior technicians.
The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial maintenance experience, read technical drawings, and operate a CMMS for parts and maintenance records.
Qualifications
- 10+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to use various tools including volt-meter and other necessary equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
- Maintain, set up and operate machinery such as lathe, mill, surface grinder.
- Assist with equipment installations and improvement projects.
- Advanced fabrication of parts and equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory and recordkeeping in CMMS.
- Train, mentor and support Maintenance Technicians.
