Job summary

Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is seeking a packaging associate for the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11:30pm–7:00am) in Minnesota. The role focuses on safe production, packaging, and quality control on the packaging line.

You will perform tasks from case filling to pallet stacking, while adhering to GMPs and safety policies. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in industrial production, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to follow procedures precisely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow production documentation, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic proficiency in math, reading, and written communication.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate standard workplace systems.
• At least 1 year of experience in the coffee or food manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team to maintain a safe work environment, ensure product quality, and meet production goals.
• Perform packaging activities, including case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking.
• Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Follow all food safety and GMPs to maintain product safety and quality.
• Report safety, quality, equipment, or production concerns to Leadership.
• Operate on a packaging line with consistent speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform material handling and management tasks to support an organized and efficient production environment.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions, including safety and production procedures.
• Use computer applications to complete assigned production tasks and documentation.
• Perform quality checks and accurately document production and quality information.
