Job summary

Peet's Coffee, Inc. in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm).

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on roasting and packaging equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and assist with equipment installations. The role requires Minnesota electrical certification (or higher), basic electrical knowledge, welding/fabrication experience, and the ability to read schematics and operate SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Minnesota electrical unlicensed certification or higher required.
• Basic electrical circuits knowledge required.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Comfortable operating and understanding production equipment.
• Ability to navigate SCADA systems such as Scolari for roasting and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing by understanding machinery functionality.
• Monitor equipment for safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on roasting/packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Maintain equipment uptime and assist with new equipment installations.
• Communicate with Engineering Supervisor and Production team.
• Adhere to safety and GMP/SSOP policies.
