Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift in Brookhaven, MS. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and you may install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will also help maintain base building systems and mentor junior technicians while ensuring a safe, efficient work environment and accurate maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors.
• 2+ years predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 1+ years blueprint/electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ year electrical/electronic principles knowledge.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation; troubleshoot MHE electrical/mechanical issues.
• Create, assign, close out work orders with labor hours, equipment care, and parts used; track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive relationships across Operations facility.
