Qualifications

• Must be proficient at advanced shop mathematics.
• Requires reading and referencing complex drawings, charts, tables, and specifications.
• Requires training and/or knowledge of mechanical methods and procedures.
• Must use considerable judgment to plan and perform unusual and difficult work with limited direction.
• Must be able to lift 25–35 pounds, 15 to 40 percent of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on facilities, equipment, systems and machines across multiple trades.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to keep production running.
• Work from drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
• Inspect fire prevention equipment and safety hazards.
• Identify and order necessary maintenance parts.
• Instruct and train other employees on work methods and safety procedures.
