Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance II (Electrical/Mechanical) to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, welding and fabricating parts, and documenting spare parts usage and labor actions. The role requires a technical degree and several years of industrial maintenance experience, with OSHA familiarity and proficiency in maintenance databases.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with maintenance databases (MP2, DataStream 7i, Maintenance Connection).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
• Service other DC equipment such as refrigeration, plumbing, lighting, doors, air systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions using specifications.
• Research parts and tools; weld and fabricate as needed.
• Track spare parts usage, inventory and labor actions.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage.
• Other duties as assigned.
