Job summary

good2grow is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I for the 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM) to ensure manufacturing equipment and the facility are well-maintained.

You will diagnose and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs; applicants need a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and 2+ years in manufacturing mechanics including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must speak/read English.
• 2 years of related manufacturing mechanical experience.
• 2+ years of related experience in packing/production machines.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (e.g., install, troubleshoot, lines, valves, cylinders).
• Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays, motors).
• Experience with mechanical systems (gear boxes, pulleys, belts, sprockets, motors, seals).
• Experience with basic instrumentation and automation (flow meters, PLCs, drives/VFDs).
• Experience with schematics (electrical blueprints).
• Experience with product manuals (reading/applying knowledge to repairs).
• Experience with pumps (troubleshooting, seals/motors).
• Strong math skills to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Safely perform emergency repairs on production equipment.
• Disassemble, reassemble, and inspect equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Effectively document and keep records of repairs and maintenance during shift.
