Job summary

Randstad USA partners with a top-tier manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN to hire a Maintenance Mechanic for the third shift (11 PM–7 AM). You will maintain and repair industrial machinery, support utilities, and follow safety standards to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience, a High School diploma, and proficiency in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Maintenance & repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Operate and repair utility equipment including boilers and air compressors.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals for diagnosis.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and perform shop tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors and follow safety standards.
• Assist training and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial machinery, plumbing and fixtures to support production goals.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment with adjustments as needed.
• Operate and repair boilers, air compressors, water treatment components.
• Diagnose issues using blueprints and manuals for mechanical/electrical systems.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate complex repairs with external contractors when required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and participate in 5S practices.
