Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to keep high-speed manufacturing equipment running efficiently through mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

The role involves hands-on work with gears, bearings, drives, PLCs, and servo systems; installing electrical components, operating welding tools, and verifying tolerances with precision instruments. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of basic electrical controls, mechanical systems, and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems including gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters on three-phase power systems, AC/DC drives, motor controls, PLCs, and servo drives.
Install electrical components such as conduit runs, disconnects, fuse boxes, relays, and motors.
Safely operate shop equipment including welders and hydraulic presses.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify equipment tolerances.
