Job summary

Jarp-Industries in Wisconsin is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic (1st Shift, Full-Time) at the JARP RE location. The role covers preventative maintenance on production equipment, CNC work centers, and some electrical tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

You will perform mechanical and limited electrical work, install parts, maintain air compressors, assist with new equipment installation, and help minimize downtime. A two-year related degree with CNC/welding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in a related field with two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Prior welding and CNC maintenance repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with computers (Microsoft products).
• Strong PLC and CNC equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
• Perform mechanical and limited electrical work on equipment following codes.
• Install replacement parts and components on machinery.
• Maintain air compressors and complete weekly service tasks.
• Assist in installing new equipment and relocating existing equipment.
• Collaborate with area Team Leaders to minimize downtime and lost production.
• Enter service information into the maintenance tracking system.
• Troubleshoot equipment using wiring diagrams and electrical testing devices.
• Support OSHA compliance with EHS Coordinator.
• Operate wastewater treatment system within specifications.
• Perform general cleaning, filter changes, and routine maintenance.
