Thunderbird LLC in New Albany, MS is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic - L3 to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems in metal production equipment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and safe operation.

Ideal candidates have experience in maintenance, can read mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic prints, and know hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and motor drives.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Provides data for maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
