Job summary

Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction, IA is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment across the pork processing facility. You will work in various production areas performing preventative and reactive maintenance on conveyors, trolleys, rendering machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems, with welding and basic electrical tasks as needed.

The role requires reading manuals, documenting work, completing training modules, and lifting up

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years’ experience and/or training in at least two maintenance areas: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, welding and related.
• Ability to read and understand manuals and document work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across a pork processing facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, trolley systems, rendering machinery, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Weld or fabricate as needed and perform basic electrical work.
