Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across a pork processing facility. You will work on conveyors, trolley systems, rendering machinery, hydraulics, and related systems while following Tyson policies and safety guidelines.

The role requires reading manuals, documenting work on scheduling sheets, completing computer-based training, and being able to lift 60 pounds. Candidates must be able to work third shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, with 1 year on-the-job training.
• Experience in at least two maintenance areas such as mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 60+ pounds and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
• Work across departments of a pork processing facility with production lines and systems.
• Read manuals, document completed work on scheduling sheets, and complete training modules.
• Collaborate with team members and management to adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
