Job summary

nVent is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Alexandria, MN. You will operate assembly equipment to meet production goals, follow inspection instructions, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires basic math, teamwork, and the ability to work overtime. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with strong communication and safety adherence essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating production assembly equipment.
• Ability to read measurement tools (caliper, micrometer or gauge blocks).

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment to meet production requirements
• Follow and perform periodic product inspection instructions
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain optimal machine operating speeds
• Complete daily production reporting
• Ability to perform daily autonomous maintenance procedures
• Participate on continuous improvement teams
• Maintain 5S standards
• All other duties as assigned
