Job summary

nVent is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Anoka, MN. You will repair and maintain all production equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, implement timely repairs, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires at least 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with a High School diploma or trade training preferred. Excellent reading of design documents is beneficial.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred.
• 1+ years’ mechanical maintenance experience.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as design

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Implement repairs and adjustments on machines.
• Make emergency repairs to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
• Make periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate all production machinery.
• Assist in building equipment parts and experimental machines to work order specifications.
• Assist in coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.
