Caterpillar is seeking a dynamic Manager, Logistics (3rd Shift) in Champaign, IL to lead all 3rd shift warehouse operations at the Midwest Logistics Center. You will ensure safety, efficient material flow, and high performance of AutoStore, AMRs, and related systems while guiding front-line supervisors and hourly staff.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, talent development, and collaboration with EHS, IT, and maintenance to maximize throughput and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3rd shift warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound activities.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, and customer service with a zero-injury culture.
• Oversee AutoStore, AMRs, robotic systems, and automation performance.
• Coordinate staffing plans and production schedules to meet throughput targets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and bottleneck removal.
• Coach and develop supervision staff and hourly employees for capability and succession.
