Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for the 3rd shift in Lafayette, IN. You will supervise daily warehousing operations, coordinate with the logistics team, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and performance metrics.

You will lead cross-functional meetings, manage priorities, and support training and development within a fast-paced distribution environment at Caterpillar facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and conduct business in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and hoists.
• Lead meetings with multifunctional teams to track performance and drive results.
• Coordinate with logistics to set up expedited shipments and manage zones.
• Lead problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement.
• Track quality metrics and ensure safety, quality, velocity and cost goals.
• Support training matrix and adapt to changing priorities.
