Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing logistics or supply chain engineering.
• Experience implementing logistics automation technologies including AGVs, AMRs, ASRS, VLMs, robotics, conveyance and identification systems.
• Knowledge of ERP, WMS, MES, fleet-management platforms, APIs and automated equipment controls.
• Experience developing automation requirements, layouts, processes, business cases and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, evaluates and implements logistics automation solutions for material movement, storage, picking and delivery.
• Analyzes data on material flow, capacity, labor and production to validate automation concepts with vendors.
• Leads automation projects from concept to vendor selection, design, installation and handoff.
• Integrates automation systems with warehouse, manufacturing, ERP and fleet-management platforms.
• Ensures safety, ergonomic and risk-management standards while driving continuous improvement.
• Develops standard work, training, maintenance expectations and operational support processes.
• Manages multiple projects, communicates progress and risks to stakeholders, and evaluates new automation technologies.
