Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead Assembler for the 3rd shift in Waukesha, WI. The role involves welding and assembling transformer components, reading blueprints, and preparing leads for tank assembly. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work overtime as needed.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $24.45-$26.00 plus a $2.50 shift premium per hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Shift runs 11pm–7am; overtime potential may apply.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility; relocation not provided.

Mansioni

• Weld aluminum and copper and connect leads on transformer coils and accessories.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Position and shape leads for proper clearance within tank; MIG weld laminated leads to bus bar.
• Brazes, welds, or crimps secondary leads to coil; assemble dual voltage switches and taps; ensure proper tanking clearances.
• Cut and fit wood braces for leads and bolt onto core and coil frame.
• Measure and cut leads to specified lengths; insulate and crimp terminals; perform minor coil repair.
