Job summary

The General Welder will operate welding equipment in Transformer assembly lines at Eaton in Wisconsin. You will perform welding on stainless and mild steel, including radiators, using plasma, TIG, MIG and robotic welders.

You must read basic prints and work safely with hand tools and cranes. This select role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus, a competitive hourly rate with shift premium, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year welding in manufacturing.
• At least 1 year assembly experience or 1-year welding diploma.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Residence within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment across transformer lines, including low voltage welding.
• Weld stainless and mild steel covers and radiators onto tanks.
• Use robotic welder and various hand tools per prints or instructions.
• Place weld-on and bolt-on covers and perform pressure tests.
• Follow safety, quality, and production standards.
