Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The role emphasizes diagnosing, repairing, and preventing issues on mechanical and electrical systems in a high- paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll work closely with production and engineering to improve reliability and plant performance, with strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability for PLCs, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Commitment to safety and independent work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics and documentation to identify root causes and restore operation.
• Respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain plant productivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.
• Identify early signs of wear and potential failures and address them.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Take ownership from diagnosis through repair and follow-up.
