Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician in our Levittown, Pennsylvania Presort Services facility. The total hourly pay is $31 with a $2 differentiator and overtime potential.

Your schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 10:45PM - 7:15AM EST. You will troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose complex electromechanical issues on mail sorters and related machinery to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Proficient with multi-meters or other electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment for automated equipment operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadline pressures.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to industry standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedules, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory using EAM.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs promptly.
• Use a tablet to track work, downtime, and materials.
• Perform additional duties as required.
