Job summary

Professions Inc is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift position near Huntsville, Alabama. The role focuses on keeping manufacturing equipment running safely and reliably in a climate-controlled facility with an emphasis on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, PLCs and robotics, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production teams.

Qualifications

• 2.5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial equipment and automated production systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and industrial controls.
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnosing PLCs, robotics, conveyors, and automated systems issues.
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Identifying problems and implementing long-term solutions.
• Supporting equipment installations, adjustments, and improvements.
• Working with production and maintenance teams to keep operations efficient.
• Participating in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Maintaining maintenance records and communicating across shifts.
• Promoting a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
