Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an Electromechanical Technician for our Prattville, AL facility. On-site role on 2nd or 3rd shift focusing on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical, control, and electromechanical systems across the plant.

The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical skills, experience with automated production equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other maintenance systems preferred.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, and motors.
• Perform PM, PdM, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose failures using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and troubleshooting tools.
• Support production by responding to downtime and minimizing losses.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.
