Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Aurora, IL is seeking a maintenance technician proficient in PLCs, servos, and industrial controls. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot sensors, I/O modules, and wiring, and support HMI/PLC programs on 480V systems.

Responsibilities include diagnostics of Profibus/Industrial Ethernet, feedback devices, and packaging equipment. Strong safety practices and willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems preferred.
• Experience with packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of lockout/tagout and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of sensors, PLC I/O modules, and control wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting for analog/digital controls in 480V, 3-phase systems and motors.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders, load cells, and position feedback devices.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic as needed.
• Diagnose communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet) and related equipment.
