Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking Floor Techs for work in our Ladue School District. Responsibilities include carpet cleaning, scrubbing, and maintaining hard surface floors using buffers and burnishers.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 pounds, follow safety procedures, and work well in a team. High school degree preferred; prior floor tech experience is a plus. HES Facilities Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

• Experience: Previous floor tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing hard surface floors.
• Operates high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment.
• Follows established safety precautions and uses cleaning/finishing equipment properly.
• Lifts and carries up to 70 pounds; works with a team and takes direction.

Performs the following duties: carpet cleaning (bonnet and extraction), scrubbing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and spray buffing hard surface floors.Must be able to operate high and low speed buffers up to 24 inch and 3000 RPM propane burnishing equipment.Follow established safety precautions.Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment.Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.Job Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.Excellent work historyTeam focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take direction.
